Awareness Through Movement

Awareness Through Movement (ATM) is a key part of the Feldenkrais Method, consisting of gentle, structured movement lessons guided by verbal instructions. These lessons are designed to improve physical function by increasing awareness of how you move. By paying close attention to sensations, breathing, and alignment during slow, mindful movements, you help your brain form new, more efficient movement patterns. The practice can enhance flexibility, coordination, posture, and reduce tension or pain—beneficial for everyone from athletes to those in rehab or simply seeking greater ease in daily life.
